How long does it take to travel from the airports to
the cruise port in Galveston?
As stated previously, both Intercontinental (IAH) and Houston Hobby (HOU) airports are located at a significant distance from Galveston.
In normal conditions, travel time between Intercontinental Airport and the island is roughly 1.5 hours, while travel time between Hobby Airport and the cruise terminal is about 45 minutes.
We advise leaving at least two hours to travel between the airports and one hour to reach the port for cruises.
Is there a public transportation option that connects
Houston to the cruise port in Galveston?
